You answer a few questions about notes and flavours.
We're building a FREE platform to help you discover your next favourite coffee.
Coffee Nerdery is a speciality coffee discovery platform that helps you find new and exciting coffees from a hand-picked selection of UK roasters. We use a combination of fancy algorithms and a few (human) coffee nerds scouring the coffee scene to find and recommend the best coffee for you.
Think of Coffee Nerdery as a search engine for coffee. You tell it what you like, and it'll show you all the options that fit the bill. And the more you use it, the better the recommendations get. It's like having your own personal barista, but online.
We may be biased, but we believe comparing coffee doesn't benefit anyone in the coffee supply chain.
Coffee is more than just a commodity; it's a craft that should be appreciated, and we want to create something other than a race to the bottom. That's why we've decided not to display prices for the coffees we list on Coffee Nerdery.
Have you ever experienced this when you bought coffee online? Open countless tabs from various roasters -> drown in a sea of options -> go back to buying the same coffee as before -> feel regret when you realize that there are countless fantastic roasters you never tried simply because you never had a chance to discover them.
Wouldn't it be nice if there were a better way? Well, that's exactly what we're building.
We're building Coffee Nerdery for us nerds who chase that perfect shot and help Roasters get in front of new coffee enthusiasts.
We're taking a "quality over quantity" approach and only want to work with reputable roasters. Hence, we only list a hand-picked selection of roasters across the United Kingdom.
We don't see Coffee Nerdery replacing your subscription. Instead, we see it as something you'd use alongside your subscription when you're feeling adventurous and want to discover a new roaster or a new coffee.
We use a combination of user reviews, ratings, and our own product recommendation engine to help you discover coffee you'll love.
You will be buying the coffee from the roaster. We are a discovery and recommendation platform and don't currently plan to sell coffee ourselves.
Great question. Coffee Nerdery is free for the users and for the roasters. We offer it for free because we believe it is a great way to raise awareness of our company and gives us the opportunity to sell other services we offer to roasters (such as marketing and e-commerce services).
Of course, you can submit roaster and coffee suggestions through the Contact Us page.
Welcome to the Coffee Nerdery blog, where you'll find all sorts of exciting content about the world of speciality coffee.
After three years of experimenting with both brilliant and not-so-brilliant espresso shots, we bid farewell to our Rancilio Silvia, which introduced us to the world of speciality coffee. Feeling prepared to elevate our coffee experience, and after much discussion, we chose the La Marzocco Linea Micra. We welcomed our new coffee machine into our home at the end of last year.
Noni's Coffee Roasters is nestled in the Phoenix Trading Estate, roughly 2 miles east of Stroud's centre. This estate, situated in an established industrial zone, is surrounded by breathtaking scenery and a tranquil stream.
