How shipping works on the Collective
Coffee Nerdery Collective is a marketplace. We do not hold stock, pack orders, or dispatch any products. Every order placed through the Collective is shipped directly to you by the individual roaster.
This means that shipping times, rates, carriers, and conditions vary between roasters and are set entirely at their discretion.
Shipping rates and delivery estimates
Shipping costs and estimated delivery windows are shown at checkout and are determined by the roaster. These may vary depending on your location, the weight of your order, and the carrier the roaster uses.
Delivery estimates are provided by the roaster in good faith. Coffee Nerdery does not guarantee delivery by any specific date and accepts no responsibility for delays caused by the roaster, their chosen carrier, or circumstances outside anyone's control.
Order processing and dispatch
Many roasters on the Collective roast to order. This means there may be a processing period between your order being placed and it being dispatched. Typical processing times are shown on each roaster's storefront page.
Coffee Nerdery has no visibility into or control over a roaster's dispatch schedule.
Tracking your order
Where tracking is available, it will be provided by the roaster directly, typically via your order confirmation or a separate dispatch notification. Not all roasters offer tracked shipping on all orders.

Multiple roasters in one order
If your order contains products from more than one roaster, each roaster will ship their items separately. You will receive separate dispatch notifications and your items will arrive independently.
Separate shipping costs may apply per roaster. This will be shown clearly at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Delivery areas
The majority of roasters on the Collective ship within the United Kingdom. Some roasters may offer international shipping at their discretion. Available delivery destinations are shown at checkout.
Coffee Nerdery does not set or guarantee delivery coverage for any roaster.
Problems with delivery
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, is damaged on arrival, or has been lost in transit, please contact the roaster in the first instance. Their contact details are available in your order confirmation and on their storefront page.
If you are unable to reach the roaster or your concern remains unresolved, you may contact us at collective@coffeenerdery.co and we will make reasonable efforts to help facilitate a resolution.
Coffee Nerdery accepts no liability for lost, delayed, or damaged shipments. Any such claims are between you and the roaster as the seller and their carrier.
This policy was last reviewed in June 2026. Coffee Nerdery reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to your order.
