The Cup
Medium body with a smooth, rounded mouthfeel. The acidity is gentle and balanced — present enough to keep things lively, but not sharp or citric. This is a clean, washed coffee with no funk or ferment character. It's straightforward in the best sense: sweet, nutty, and easy to dial in. The Starmaya variety and 1600 MASL altitude give it enough complexity to stay interesting, but it won't challenge you.

How to Brew This Coffee
This coffee works beautifully in a V60, where the washed process and medium body come through with clarity and balance. It's equally at home in a Filter setup — drip pots and Kalita Wave will highlight the toffee apple sweetness without any fuss. For a fuller, rounder cup that emphasises the pecan and chocolate notes, try it in a French Press.

We’re thrilled to introduce our new house filter, sourced from a unique and underrepresented origin.
Hailing from Mbala in northern Zambia, Mount Sunzu Coffee sits on a 780-hectare estate with agricultural roots dating back to 1890. Once a mid-1900s coffee farm, the land has been revitalised with solar powered irrigation, soil restoration, and 600 hectares of reforested Miombo forest. Today, 115 hectares are dedicated to coffee cultivation, supported by a washing station, dry mill, raised drying beds, and beekeeping to promote biodiversity.
