How does delivery work?

Every roaster on Coffee Nerdery ships your coffee directly to you, usually roasted to order. So delivery is charged per roaster, and free delivery thresholds apply per roaster too, not across your whole basket. Order from three roasters, and each delivery is counted separately.

We know that feels unfamiliar, because the ‘everything store’ trained us all to expect free shipping on everything. But that "free" was never really free; it’s paid for by scale that small roasters can’t replicate, and margins squeezed from suppliers. Coffee Nerdery takes nothing from your postage. Every penny goes to the roaster to cover the cost of getting your coffee to you. Paying it directly is a small act of support for an independent business doing one thing exceptionally well.

What to Expect

A decaf that doesn't taste like compromise. Magnetic North's Euphoric brings chocolate and almond to the front, with a whisper of citrus brightness that reminds you this is Colombian single-origin, not just 'the decaf option'.

The Cup

The body is medium and round, with a soft, almost creamy mouthfeel that comes from both the EA sugarcane decaffeination process and the medium roast development. Acidity is gentle and citric rather than sharp, present enough to keep things interesting but never demanding attention. This is a clean cup with no funk or ferment character, just straightforward sweetness leaning into chocolate and nut territory. The decaf process has smoothed the edges without flattening the flavour.

Who This Is For

Anyone who wants proper coffee after 2pm, or who's cutting back on caffeine without cutting back on enjoyment. It's approachable enough for milk drinks but interesting enough to drink black.

If you're chasing the bright, complex acidity of a washed Ethiopian or the funky fruit of a natural process, this won't deliver that. It's built for balance, not fireworks.

Best for: Decaf drinkers who want a smooth, chocolatey cup that works any time of day.

How to Brew This Coffee

The medium roast and balanced profile make this flexible across methods. Filter brewing brings out the citrus hints and keeps the cup clean and sweet. Aeropress is your friend if you want a bit more body and control over extraction, coaxing out the chocolate and almond without any bitterness. French Press leans into the fuller body and emphasises the nutty, chocolatey character if you're after something rounder and more comforting.

Ways to Brew

  • Filter

    Filter

A filter coffee machine (or drip coffee maker) is an often electric kitchen appliance that brews coffee by heating water, passing it through ground coffee and a filter, and dripping the finished brew into a carafe.

  • Aeropress

    Aeropress

An innovative, portable brewing device that uses air pressure to extract coffee quickly and efficiently. This versatile method allows for experimentation with brewing times and techniques, producing anything from espresso-style concentrates to smooth, full-flavored cups with remarkable consistency.

  • French Press

    French Press

A French Press (or Cafetiere) is a simple, manual coffee maker that brews rich, full-bodied coffee by steeping coarse grounds in hot water, then separating them by pressing a mesh filter down with a plunger, allowing the coffee's natural oils and sediment to remain for a bolder flavour.
