What to Expect

A chocolate-forward Brazilian natural that balances classic cocoa and brown sugar sweetness with gentle fruit notes from the cherry and tangerine end of the spectrum. This is Mill Bank Coffee Co.'s Nova Blend from the South of Minas region — approachable, consistent, and built for everyday drinking without sacrificing character.

The Cup

Medium body with a round, smooth mouthfeel that leans into the natural process without getting heavy or syrupy. Acidity is moderate and soft — more of a gentle brightness than a sharp citric punch. The natural processing brings fruity sweetness (think candied orange and cherry jam) but stays clean rather than funky. The Toblerone note is spot-on: honey-laced chocolate with a hint of nuttiness. It's sweet, balanced, and won't surprise you with anything polarising.

Who This Is For

If you want a reliable, chocolatey coffee with just enough fruit character to keep things interesting, this delivers. It's versatile enough for milk drinks but flavourful enough to drink black.

If you're chasing high-altitude complexity or bright, tea-like acidity, this won't scratch that itch.

Best for: Everyday drinkers who like their coffee sweet, smooth, and chocolate-forward with a touch of fruit.

How to Brew This Coffee

The medium roast and balanced profile make this flexible across methods. Try it in a French Press to emphasise the round body and chocolate sweetness. It works beautifully as Espresso — the natural process adds fruity complexity without overwhelming milk-based drinks. For a cleaner take that highlights the tangerine and cherry notes, use an Aeropress or Filter method.

Ways to Brew

  • French Press

    French Press

A French Press (or Cafetiere) is a simple, manual coffee maker that brews rich, full-bodied coffee by steeping coarse grounds in hot water, then separating them by pressing a mesh filter down with a plunger, allowing the coffee's natural oils and sediment to remain for a bolder flavour.

  • Espresso

    Espresso

An intense, concentrated brewing method that forces hot water through finely-ground coffee under high pressure. This produces a small, powerful shot with rich crema, serving as the foundation for countless coffee drinks while delivering bold flavors and aromatic complexity.

  • Aeropress

    Aeropress

An innovative, portable brewing device that uses air pressure to extract coffee quickly and efficiently. This versatile method allows for experimentation with brewing times and techniques, producing anything from espresso-style concentrates to smooth, full-flavored cups with remarkable consistency.
