What to Expect
This naturally processed Ethiopian coffee from Jimma brings white grape sweetness and walnut richness together with soft stone fruit character. It's cleaner and more structured than many naturals, with the altitude and careful processing giving it clarity alongside the fruit.
The Cup
The body sits somewhere between medium and full — round and smooth without being heavy. Acidity is moderate and malic, more stone fruit than citrus, which keeps the cup approachable rather than sharp. The natural process adds gentle fermented fruit character, but this is restrained compared to the wilder Ethiopian naturals. Expect sweetness that leans toward dried fruit and a nutty undertone that grounds the cup. It's fruit-forward but not funky.
Who This Is For
If you like fruity coffees but find some naturals too intense or boozy, this is a good middle ground. It's sweet, accessible, and interesting without being polarising.
If you're after bright, floral, tea-like Ethiopian character, this won't deliver that — the natural process and medium body take it in a different direction.
Best for: Filter drinkers who want fruit and sweetness without the funk.
How to Brew This Coffee
A V60 will give you the cleanest expression of the white grape and stone fruit notes, with good clarity and separation. Filter methods work well too if you want a slightly rounder, more forgiving cup. An Aeropress brings out the walnut richness and body, making it a bit more comforting and less fruit-focused.
